Texas Health Arlington Memorial Heart Hospital seeks a Registered Pharmacy Technician to work full-time evenings.
HOURS / WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday (11:30 am-8:00 pm)
High School Graduate/Equivalent
Hospital, IV & PYXIS experience preferred
LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS:
Registered Pharmacy Technician State of Texas.
Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
Follows departmental guidelines.
Follows pre-pack procedural guidelines.
Prepares IV admixtures according to established guidelines.
Follows departmental guidelines for utilization of pharmacy automated dispensing systems.
Follows departmental guidelines for utilization of pharmacy narcotics room (CII Safe).
Follows departmental guidelines for restocking crash cart.
Refills pharmacy dispensing cabinets accurately.
Files automated dispensing documentation according to departmental guidelines.
Completes nursing station inspections according to departmental guidelines.
Strives to reduce departmental Turn-Around-Time in medication delivery to nursing units.
Completes workload expectations consistently.
Completes departmental education modules to improve pharmacy skill/knowledge.
Demonstrates understanding of clinical pharmacy initiatives.
Demonstrates knowledge of JCAHO Standards and Elements of Performance in relation to the Medication Management Process.
Participate and/or is willing to implement departmental projects.
Responds to workload and fellow employees in a supportive, positive manner.
Participates in community programs/projects in support of Arlington Memorial Hospital
