Nonexempt (Hourly - Eligible for overtime) To provide direct nursing care after evaluating the patient. To educate patients and families regarding medical conditions as requested. To administer treatment and to keep records of symptoms and progress to provide quality care.
One Year Experience as an RN Required for Flexi Nurses. Registered Nurse who is a graduate from a School of Nursing. Work experience may NOT substitute for minimum education requirement.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
Administers treatment after evaluating the assigned patient.
Assists as a preceptor to new staff and students in the area assigned.
Assesses and diagnosis patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
Creates and discusses the plan of care with each patient and family member assigned.
Ensures patient records are up-to-date and accurate documentation is recorded in order to provide quality care.
Identifies the medical issues and provides nursing care for the assigned patient. Reassesses the patient to ensure proper quality of care was delivered.
Directs licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS / REGISTRATIONS
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required
