The Director of Advanced Clinical Applications is the key facility resource that is responsible for delivering the successful implementation of Advanced Clinical with CPOE (computerized physician order entry). The director is responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments and software parameter settings and assisting with the development of education, training plans and materials. This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, and works with division peers to ensure advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility.

  • Licensure: Current Idaho RN license required; Compact license accepted, must obtain Idaho RN license within 90 days of employment

  • Certification or Registration: Current BLS or obtain within 30 days of employment

  • Bachelors of Nursing

  • Three to five years’ experience in clinical applications support or equivalent.

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong knowledge base of Meditech. Understands pertinent regulatory guidelines such as Joint Commission,, MQSA, HIPAA and ACR. Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personally types. Proficient in Meditech. Excellent leadership and teaching abilities. Advanced computer skills. Ability to lead and direct other and maintain a common vision for project objectives.
