Position Highlights: Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Senior Sourcing Consultant will partner with TA/Recruiting organization to build a talent community niche, mid-level and advanced practitioners to hire world-class talent for Rush a variety of roles at Rush University Medical Center. The Senior Sourcing Consultant will partner with and support our hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team in identifying the right talent and cultural fit for their respective teams Rush as a whole. The ideal candidate will have notable experience with developing direct sourcing plans using innovative and proactive search techniques, candidate assessment, and managing candidate and client relationships for niche, mid-level and advance practitioner roles.
Position Responsibilities Include: The Senior Sourcing Consultant partners with TA/Recruiters to deeply understand technical requirements, key competencies, and cultural fit and, in turn, determine effective ways to build talent pipelines for critical, difficult to fill roles. Develop talent pipeline through referral generation, leveraging external professional networks and alternative search techniques to target, attract, and develop passive candidates. Consistently meet or exceed established sourcing and recruiting metrics and goals around candidate generation, interview activity, and ultimately agency fee mitigation. Manage relationships with the hiring managers and the TA/broader HC teams in a high-touch recruiting environment; build credibility via seamless execution of search, rigorous attention to detail, and expert advisement around talent acquisition best practices and candidate selection. Manage high volume search workload via direct sourcing, employee referrals, and search partner relationships, as well as ongoing pipelining, and mining of talent in ATS/iGreentree and other research database sources. Conducts positive and enthusiastic cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult to fill roles. Performs structured screening and assessments to ensure applicants meet both job, organizational requirements and fit for the role. Interview candidates to accurately assess skills, competency and fit within the Rush culture, and promote the opportunity.
Position Qualifications Include: A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in human resources preferred, previous staffing and/or talent acquisition required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analysis and interpretation preferred. Previous experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, health insurance or related industry preferred. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Human Resources or related field required. AIRS CIR, CDR, CMVR certification preferred or comparable professional designation is strongly preferred. Demonstrated core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, employee and labor relations required. Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results. Strong skills in discernment; able to evaluate intellectual depth and problem-solving ability of candidates. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills; ability to build working relationships with candidates, consultants, and recruiting colleagues. Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity. Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, at ease with abundance of details and complexity, yet mindful of big picture, ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them, and carry them out independently. Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient with excel and PowerPoint required. Demonstrated self-motivation, energy and tenacity in achieving results; Optimistic yet realistic; upbeat attitude; ability to work in fast-paced, growing environment required.
