This is an amazing opportunity to join Kindred Hospital and gainexperience as a Monitor Technician.You will continuously monitor the cardiacfunction of patients on telemetry, providing an accurate interpretation ofthe rhythm and promptly notifying the nursing staff of any significantfindings or changes. Perform clerical and receptionistduties.Responsibilities:Print and interpret rhythm strips every eight hoursand place in patient's chart each shift; alert nursing personnel of rhythmchanges or new occurrences and obtain a graphic tracing for eachAccountablefor alarm limit settings on the monitorsFollow policies for placing telemetryleads on patients; troubleshoot any telemetry problemsCompile new andcurrent charts; enter patient information on chart and KardexPerformclerical duties related to admission and discharge of patientsAnswer telephoneand intercom, take messages and communicate information to appropriateperson; call and follow-up with consultantsAssist visitors on the nursingunitsMonitor TechnicianTechnician MonitorTech MonitorQualificationsQualifications:Education:High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.Licenses/Certification:Current CPR certification.Completion of Telemetry TrainingExperience:NoneEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
