Type Full-Time Location US-MN-Minneapolis/St. Paul Overview: Ecumen Hospice is currently seeking a Hospice Market Development Manager to join its team. Responsibilities: The Hospice Market Development Manager will work with Ecumen home office marketing and communications leadership to support and lead the hospice sales and marketing team by developing Ecumen Hospice tools and will provide training, support and leadership for the members of the hospice sales and marketing team. This position is responsible for the overall and individual performance related to generating referrals from healthcare professionals and other entities. This role involves building referral sources as well as supporting other team members to do the same. ESSENTIAL JOB Responsibilities: Provides business development oversight and leadership for all Ecumen Hospice locations. Develops, monitors and implements annual marketing outreach Plan, effectively forecasts trends and develops strategies for engaging with the healthcare community. Leads the creation of innovative collateral and branded promotional items, web-site and social media content adhering to Ecumen Brand Standards. Ensures marketing resources are on hand and available for events as needed. Builds and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of Ecumen Hospice as an innovative high quality provider of hospice care. Maintains and manages the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and ensures content from team is accurate and current. Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred in business administration, nursing, or social services. Experience: 2+ years experience in hospice sales and marketing leadership. Must have a proven track record of developing referral sources and teaching others to do the same. Must have expert knowledge of Medicare and state hospice regulations and best practices. Excellent time management, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize functions and activities in order to achieve goals. Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record which meets Ecumen Driver Policy standards and proof of vehicle insurance.
