Presbyterian SeniorCare Network Lead Cook in Oil City, Pennsylvania
Under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Director and Assistant Manager, this position assists in the managing and execution of all services necessary for the distribution of meals to residents, staff, and visitors. These services include, but are not limited to: production of all foods and other items needed for feeding; maintenance of a safe and sanitary environment; promotion of customer satisfaction. Assumes responsibility for opening/closing the department for business.
Maintains compliance with Presbyterian SeniorCare Network policy and procedure in accordance with governing laws, regulations, regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies and facility standards. Demonstrates on a consistent basis individual and team behavior that supports culture change. Consistently upholds the mission, values and behavior standards of Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. Maintains confidentiality. Other duties may be assigned.
Education: English language reading and writing skills in order to understand and follow recipes, labels, computer instructions. Possess a high school diploma/GED. Culinary Degree a plus!
Experience: Must have minimum of one year of cooking experience in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or related medical facility. Culinary background in non-health care environment may be considered.
