About the Position We have a Full-Time opening for Residential Therapist (QMHP) to provide clinical and case coordination services at our Lincoln Park and Centennial Facilities in the Portland area. Your time will be spent divided between two facilities. This position provides clinical services, case coordination with community providers and supervision for individuals affected by a severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment setting, along with the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide the 24-hour residential support services to the residents. The QMHP will report to the Facility Administrator for day-to-day supervision and work assignments, and be supervised by the ColumbiaCare Clinical Director for clinical standards and quality improvement. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (Day Shift), 8:00am'5:00pm. This position requires ONCALL responsibilities that includes one (1) week at a time, every four weeks with occasional evening & weekends. In this position, the QMHP provides clinical services and supervision for adults affected by a severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment setting. Will also provide training and supervision to the Supportive Housing Associates who provide the 24-hour support to the clients. Work hours typically being Mon-Fri day shift hours but occasional weekend work is necessary and on call responsibilities too. Responisbilities will require the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential and Supportive Housing Associates. Must have the ability to perform a Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment, Assessment Updates and Treatment Plan. The QMHP will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, direct care staff must be willing and able to successfully complete our Verbal and Physical Intervention (VPI) crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. Qualifications MUST meet State of Oregon QMHA credentials by our following criteria: a)Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field; b)OR a Bachelor's degree in Nursing as well as be licensed by the State of Oregon; c)MUST meet OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting An additional TWO (2) YEARS of supervisory experience is highly preferred Must be detail oriented with good record keeping skills Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
