The PACS Assistant is responsible for assisting the Radiologists in the day-to-day operations of the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS). Will be responsible for keeping abreast of software application updates and assisting other users. Will monitor PACS work lists and assist radiologists as needed. The PACS Assistant will assist in other ancillary Imaging departments as needed for assistance with patient arrival, image storage, image retrieval and image viewing. Transports patients to and from the Imaging Services department in a safe, timely manner. This position reports to the Supv, Ultrasound.
Experience Requirements :
Customer service and basic computer application experience required. Prior experience with PACS and Imaging Services preferred. Three to six month health care experience preferred.
Education Required :
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in related field preferred.
