Senior Occupational Health Nurse

The Registered Nurse is responsiblefor all onsite medical programs, andisclinically competent; delivers care toemployeesutilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts withemployees, and otherswhile maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Manage current and past worker’s compensation claims including input, communications with insurer/employee, follow up appointments, file tracking, and more
Manage all HSEMS requirements for Health Services (procedures, recordkeeping, CA Closure)
Lead site ergonomics team
Lead all employee well-being program initiatives to comply with Aero corporate expectations
Administer all annual hearing exams, file records, and administer data base
Provide pulmonary testing for respirator program and maintain all applicable records for compliance
Manage portions of the radiation safety program, including the monthly badge exchange program/records
Serve as a focal point for employee relations and communication of IH and other medical testing results as required
Manage cafeteria health program including inspections
Serve as a daily contact point for corporate medical team
Complete all required health services training
Maintain, file, and archive all Honeywell required medical records
Serve as a key leader of the ERT for the site and conduct AED drills, etc.
Serve as focal point for site medical needs, drug screening, and communication
Manage annual biometric screening, flu shots, and health fair
Manage safety shoe and prescription glasses ordering, tracking, etc.
25 Occupational disease prevention activities
25 Compliance with regulatory and other requirements
25 Provide prompt and appropriate primary care
25 Management of medical programs & training
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana
- Previous experience in employee care/industrial setting preferred.
- Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Significant nursing experience
- Some Occupational Health and Workers' Compensation experience
- Case management experience
- Current CPR/AED Certification
