Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .874 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits* Shift: 1 Responsibilities:The Anesthesia Manager organizes and leads the team of Anesthesia Techs and Assistants, key members of the perioperative team. These activities include responsibility for the maintenance, deployment, cleaning and supply of anesthesia equipment in the operating rooms and in other areas where anesthesia is administered--which include not just the operating rooms, but other interventional labs, the Eye Institute, Labor & Delivery, and other out-of-the-OR locations. Calibration, quality control testing and maintenance of blood analysis equipment. 2. Performance of blood analysis to include blood gases, electrolytes, glucose, thromboelastograph (TEG), activated clotting time (ACT), and hematocrit; and urine pregnancy testing. 3. Provision of technical assistance to anesthetizing personnel in the operation and application of patent care equipment. 4. Performance of patient care equipment inspections in an operating room environment. One year of experience in a leadership role in a medical technology related field is preferred. Bachelor's degree required with a focus in either nursing, business, medical technology, biomedical technology, or anesthesia technology is required. ASATT Certification is recommended.
