Job Description Summary:
Responsible for creating, organizing and leading projects to resolve A/R, payor and process issues in Revenue Cycle Management. Collaborates with cross functional teams to create improvement processes that positively impact employees, patient’s and the organization. Acts as a business process subject matter expert and supports the field as appropriate. Supports transformation and accounts receivable processes to achieve operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
Serve as a leader participant in Intake & Reimbursement division-wide initiatives related to technology implementation and revenue cycle transformation
Assists the leadership with oversight, governance, issue identification and support related to Intake and Reimbursement Operations.
Oversees process improvement and standardization projects. Leads initiatives with a high level of organization, efficiency and documents outcomes
Utilizes key business skills to evaluate efficiency and creates processes in collaboration with management to optimize revenue cycle operations.
Creates training and documentation related to various business processes, best practices, and payor specific processes where necessary
Work with Corporate Option Care sales, pricing and contracting teams (where applicable) and directly with the payors on any resolution required
Monitors, audits, analyzes for adherence to overall Infusion Division Intake and Reimbursement initiatives, requirements and goals, and recommends and implements resolution/action plans where necessary for intake and reimbursement within the organization. Tracks and monitors compliance
At the discretion of management, serves in management capacity as necessary within the revenue cycle centers due to extended vacancies

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of healthcare intake/admissions and/or reimbursement experience OR
high school diploma and at least 5 years of healthcare intake/admissions and/or reimbursement experience
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Experience collaborating with internal resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements.
Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, laws, and regulations.
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word & Powerpoint (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Travel Requirements: (if required)
Willing to travel up to 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
Previous Infusion Medical Billing/Collections or Intake/Admissions experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business-related field.
At least 2 years of experience applying knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines
