Career Opportunity:

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is seeking a Medical Office Scheduler at the Siena clinic in Henderson, NV. This role will be primarily scheduling but would prefer MA experience. In this position you will work in a fast paced, high volume oncology practice with some of the best physicians in their fields while providing care to patients in a successful health care organization.

The essential functions for the Medical Office Scheduler include the following:

  • Checks patients out after examination

  • Schedules returning appointments in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines and provides patients with appointment details such as time, location, directions, instruction sheets, and other details

  • Assists in scheduling patients for services with outside facilities

  • Records patient cancellations and missed appointments and reschedules appointments

  • MA (Medical Assistant) experience preferred

  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Two years prior experience scheduling in a medical office

  • MA (Medical Assistant) experience preferred

  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel) required
