NHS is currently seeking Residential Counselor to join our NHS Adult Behavioral Health Division in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • Provides direction and assistance to consumers residing in CRR programs in areas but not limited to: nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, exercise, health management and vocational.

  • Transport residents to necessary appointments when appropriate.

  • Implement appropriate parts of each resident's goal plan as instructed by the treatment team or supervisor. Report the resident's progress or lack of progress to the appropriate clinician

  • Previous experience working with the edlerly population

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
